  3. Click to view slideshow. It is interesting that with the release of the 3rd iteration of patch 1.6.1 Common Test the developers already added it openly to the game files in addition to the supertest. You understand how much they are in a hurry to add it to the base game. Therefore, most likely there will be few tests and the tank will soon be in release. We are waiting for the release in one of the micropatches after 1.6.1, if not in patch 1.6.1 itself (October). The technical characteristics of the supertest version of this machine differs from the characteristics of the public test version greatly. In the public test, the tank is nerfed and its performance characteristics are very similar to those of the Kirovets-1 (Unreleased tier 8 soviet premium) – New performance characteristics in the game (not the final version!): • reload time of guns; • Preparation time for a double shot; • Recharge lock time; • Gun change time. For Object 703 Option II, they amounted to: [CT3 1.6.1]: • Gun reload time (1/2): 10/8 sec. • Double shot preparation time: 4 sec. • Recharge lock time: 7 sec. • Changing guns: 5 sec. For Object 703 Option II they amounted to: [Supertest]: • Gun reload time (1/2): 13/13 sec. • Double shot preparation time: 3.5 sec. • Recharge lock time: 7 sec. • Changing guns: 5 sec. After firing with a doublet (immediately from 2 guns), it will be necessary to wait for the blocking time of 7 sec + 13 sec of reloading of 1 gun. * Crew: 5 people on ST and 4 on CT. ** The armor of the tank also differs between CT3 1.6.1 and ST. Each of the ratings will last for six days, from Thursday (16:00 UTC) till Tuesday (20:00 UTC). Interface Fixed a bug that caused the lock icon to disappear on the sectors unavailable for capture. Fixed a bug that caused the stats of an aircraft selected in the carousel that has been upgraded due to the installed equipment, to be projected to other machines’ info in the Hangar. This bug didn’t affect the real battle stats of the aircraft. Added more options to the stat panel in the Hangar. Now the panel correctly shows how the Crew skills affect the aircraft’s performance. By hovering the mouse over different modules, you can see how the performance will be changed if they are installed. Besides, the pop-up hints were added that explain the sources and values of the effects that influence an aircraft’s stats. Graphics The lighting system was updated for all locations. Now the game utilizes the atmospheric light diffusion system, which makes the game’s visuals more realistic. Other Changes Game Modes: All map layouts for the Attrition, Invasion, and Bomber Escort battle modes have been added to the training room. Bots: Fixed a bug that made it possible for the bot to be sent to defend itself with a shortcut. Increased the minimum distance needed to assign a bot on an attack aircraft to defend a player’s aircraft. Controls: Gamepad support restored. View the full article
  15. Here are the first patch details for patch 1.6. General test is scheduled for tomorrow. This patch will have very serious changes and will release strictly as promised: July – August. In our personal opinion, team damag does not need to be turned off in the random battles, but we know that there are many agreeing with the disabling of team damage. Patch 1.6 will be released in August. – Update 1.6: disable damage to allies in random battles. • Team damage is turned off in all random battles. • Where does team damage remain: All clan battles [global map, fortified areas], Tournament fights, Training fights. It is difficult to imagine a sad situation in the game than when a shell from an ally arrives in a battle in your tank. Often this happens by chance. Sometimes a tanker inadvertently sends a projectile into a teammate’s tank. Or does it intentionally for some reason only known to him. It’s a shame that allies suffer from this, which could benefit the team. Outdated mechanics. Team killing is a game mechanic that has long existed in World of Tanks. Its main task was to immerse the tankers with the atmosphere of the game. But over time, the negative aspects of this mechanics, such as the domino effect – the exchange of shots between the allies. The result was a ban and fines, but the game is not about that. To make the gameplay more comfortable, we decided to rework the damage system, eliminating the damage of shooting and ramming the allies. HE damage will not be? Remember how unpleasant it was at the beginning of the battle for an light tank to ram a heavy tank and take damage? Now it is excluded, even if the ally decides to ram you intentionally during the battle. Another typical situation in a duel with a Borsig was an ally hitting the gun during a shot, making you possibly lose the duel. When hit by an ally, only a trace of non-penetration or rebound will remain. It will be possible to recognize friendly fire by alternative dubbing and visualization, different from effects when hit by enemy projectiles. And if your arty will cover you? To get under the fire of your own artillery is unpleasant. With the new mechanics arty will not be able to cause damage to the allies, but at the same time, the probability of stunning the teammate will remain. After all, if you completely remove any impact from the artillery, it will be able with impunity to send a projectile into a cluster of allies and opponents, thereby greatly influencing the outcome of the battle. The situation in which the damage to the Allied arty can be done by blocking arty’s barrel with your own tank barrel is also disabled. Now, if the high-explosive fragmentation projectile crosses the team-mate’s cannon, it will simply fly through. Will it be impossible to kill an ally? You can still get the blue nickname in the game, but this is an extreme case. For example, deliberately or inadvertently push an ally from a high ground, causing him to take damage, drown or be destroyed. The same goes for an allied machine coup. Artillery will also be able to receive the status of “Teamkiller” if it constantly stuns the allies.A player who has received the status of “Teamkiller”, loses protection from allied damage. Teammates will be able to destroy his car without any penalties. However, it should not be forgotten that killing an ally weakens the team. ** We will make the appropriate changes to the rules of the game. They will take effect after the release of version 1.6. The Crew Books cannot be applied to crew members whose Major Qualification level is increased to 100% using equipement or consumables. Only the base value of the Major Qualification level is considered (e.g., if you use the Improved Combat Rations increasing the Major Qualification level to 105%, the Crew Books cannot be used, since the base level of the Major Qualification will make only 95%). 4. 20. Greetings everyone, World of Warplanes patch 2.0.13 has just released and here are the patchnotes: Daily Log in has been added Every monday a new daily bonus “session” will start giving you 5k credits on log in and another reward after completing a battle and getting 3k personal points. After the seventh day of completing all daily bonuses, players will get a crate which have the chance to drop Premium Aircraft, Gold, Free Exp, Universal premium time, equipment, consumables, ammunition, consumables and materials ( WoT players might be interested in this as gold and free exp can be used in WoT and playing a wowp match every day seems easy considering you could get free gold out of it) New Aircraft and Aircraft changes USSR and German Tier 7-10 Bombers available for research Horten Ho 229 has been added Various damage models got changed ( F-84B, F-84F, FW 252, Ta 183, Me P.1092, Me P.1101) Secret Trials: Horten Ho 229 An operation order has been added to every player, activate it and complete it to get the Horten 229, keep in mind that an activated mission has a 48 hour time limit and can be expanded and difficult missions can be skipped using tokens, so make sure to stack up on some before attempting the operation order Personal Ratings Special project of Germany: Engine Boost Mixture Injection System and Special project of Germany: High-Speed Gas Turbine Special project of Japan: Lightweight Wing Frame Special project of the U.K.: Collimator Sight and Special project of the U.K.: Gyroscopic Sight New Bot commands Updated the bots’ control system via the chat shortcuts (keys F2, F3, F4, and F7). Each player can control only one bot at a time. The bot will execute orders until one of the three following events occurs: it is destroyed; the aircraft that the bot is attacking or defending is destroyed; the sector that is the target of the bot’s attack or defense passes into the hands of another team. After the player uses the chat shortcut, the order will be assigned to the bot that is closest to the team’s target and piloting a suitable aircraft. Bots that are already executing any other player’s order will ignore the new order. If there is not a single suitable free bot, the order will be declined. If the bot is attacked on the way to its target, it can join the battle to defend itself, and this will postpone the order’s execution. Upon pressing the F2 key, a player sends one suitable bot to the selected sector (when attacking) or calls it to assist with defending the sector (a player must be in that sector). The bot goes there and starts attacking the targets corresponding to the target’s aircraft type. The territory type affects the bot’s choice, for example, fighters are not involved in attacking plants, and attack aircraft and bombers will not provide support when defending sectors. Upon pressing the F3 key, a player calls a bot that will become a Flight member and provide support for this player. The choice of the bot depends on what the player is currently engaged in — the attack aircraft type can provide support when attacking sectors; outside these sectors, a player can order fighters to provide cover. Upon pressing the F4 key, a player can order a bot that is piloting an attack aircraft type to engage a selected enemy aircraft or to defend a selected allied aerial target. In addition, you can order the bot to defend the allied Attack Flight. Upon pressing the F7 key (“Clear my Tail!”), a player can order a bot that is piloting a fighter aircraft type to attack all aerial targets threatening the player. Map changes: Sea Gate: Siege, Old Fortress: Enemy at the Gates, Old Fortress: Flanking Maneuver — changed entry points for both teams. Old Fortress: Danger Zone — completely changed entry points, as well as territory type and layout. Interface An indication of the number of players and bots waiting at specific entry points has been added to the respawn window. Sound Hangar sound effects were significantly updated and enhanced. Bug Fixes Fixed a bug due to which some gift emblems on the Ju 86 E, Hs 129 A, and BV P. 203 aircraft did not provide bonuses. Fixed a bug due to which rear turret fire visual effects on the Тu-2 and Тu-10 were missing. Fixed a bug with the gunner’s model on the AD10 aircraft. View the full article

Radar equipment will now reduce spotting distance by a maximum of 500 meters, depending on upgrade status. Spotting ranges are now 1650 meters for tier 1 to 4, 2000 meters for tier 5 to 7 and 2500 meters for tier 8 to 10. Visible area on the Radar now covers 4500 / 3000 / 1500 meters for Tiers 1-4, 6000 / 4000 / 2000m for Tiers 5-7 and 7500 / 5000 / 2500m for Tiers 8-10.
