  9. Greetings, Commanders! The festive season is behind us, but we still have enjoyable new content for you. Today is a special day as those long-awaited double-barreled vehicles are heading for the Supertest*! In addition to the new sub-branch of double-barreled Soviet heavy tanks coming out in Update 1.7.1, we’re testing a new feature, the Demount Kit, which we aim to release with them. It will save you gold when unmounting Complex Equipment. Let’s take a closer look. Double-Barrel = Double Fun! You might have already seen the extraordinary Object 703 Version II, the first-ever Tier VIII Premium double-barreled vehicle in World of Tanks, in Random Battles. It provides its fortunate possessors with fresh, dynamic gameplay and instantly draws attention on the battlefield. Now it’s time to give some friends to the pioneer of double-barreled tanks and introduce the highly anticipated sub-branch of these steel colossi. The new sub-branch of double-barreled Soviet heavy tanks will start with the KV-3 at Tier VII. You’ll be able to move along the heavy branch or research these new double-barreled predators. In Update 1.7.1, the following three new vehicles will storm the battlefield: The IS-2-II (Tier VIII) The IS-3-II (Tier IX) The ST-II (Tier X) The Crew of all three double-barreled vehicles consists of five crew members: Commander (Radio Operator) Gunner Driver Two Loaders As you go up the new branch, you’ll find that you have more armor, more firepower, and more fun driving these tanks. But their most important feature is several shooting modes, and each has its own peculiarities. Let’s take a quick look at them. Cyclic (regular): Firing one gun that reloads after each shot After shooting the active, let’s say, left gun, it starts reloading. The second one (the right gun) now becomes active. When the left gun is loaded, take a shot with the right gun. Then the right gun starts reloading, the left one becomes active again, and the cycle repeats. Sequential: Shooting both guns alternately After shooting the active left gun, the camera shifts, but you can’t fire the second gun right away. The timer on the left shows when you can shoot. When it finishes, you can fire from the second gun. Remember though that the loading of the first gun will be interrupted, and the sequential loading of both shells will start over. Double shot: Simultaneous shots from two guns You need to hold the left mouse button to prepare the shot (this takes a few seconds). The reloading progress is displayed inside the scope area. When the preparation is complete, a double shot automatically occurs. If you release the left mouse button before preparation ends, the process will reset. Note: you can reassign the double shot button in the control settings menu using the Double-Shot key. All characteristics of these tanks that are relevant for the Supertest are not final and can be adjusted before the vehicles hit the live server. Look out for more information on double-barreled vehicle gameplay in an upcoming dedicated article! Demount Kit: Save Your Gold! Starting with Update 1.7.1, it will be possible to unmount and send Complex Equipment to the Depot for free without spending 10 gold. To do this, you need to use the new Demount Kit. It has varying chances to drop from the large Reward for Merit in the fifth round of this special in-game reward. Each Demount Kit can be used only once to unmount one piece of Complex Equipment. You can still unmount Complex Equipment for gold – just select the option from the menu on the equipment screen. But why not simply remove it for free and save your gold for something else? Earned Demount Kits will be stored in the Stock section of the Consumables tab in your Depot and automatically debited after use. Remember: these items cannot be sold! View the full article

A player who has enabled the option will be displayed as an unknown player to other participants of the battle (except for the members of your Platoon), which includes: A unique name (that will change each battle) will be created and displayed instead of the player’s actual nickname. If the player belongs to a clan, the clan tag and the clan emblem on the vehicle will not be displayed. It will not be possible to receive additional information about the player in battle. Badges of anonymized players will still be displayed. Members of Platoons that were created both in the Garage and in battle will see only the real nicknames of each Platoon member. The text of Mission conditions is not displayed in the congratulation window, provided that the required vehicle type is specified in the Mission conditions. In some cases, automatic repair/replenishment of ammo and consumables after a battle does not take place, when the amount of credits on the account is sufficient. In some cases, fallen trees fall through the terrain. The consumables are not replenished from the Depot if the player does not have enough credits for complete automatic ammunition resupply. When previewing a bundle in the Store, the compensation value for a rented vehicle is displayed. The Battle Results are missing information about deducting bonds in case of automatic resupply of Directives. If the Barracks is full, players cannot sell a vehicle with the Crew Member’s Dismissal option selected. In battle, the team list screen displayed upon pressing Tab is missing a hint for the icon of the enabled option “Nickname anonymization in battle” in case of a long nickname. 18. Click to view slideshow. It is interesting that with the release of the 3rd iteration of patch 1.6.1 Common Test the developers already added it openly to the game files in addition to the supertest. You understand how much they are in a hurry to add it to the base game. Therefore, most likely there will be few tests and the tank will soon be in release. We are waiting for the release in one of the micropatches after 1.6.1, if not in patch 1.6.1 itself (October). The technical characteristics of the supertest version of this machine differs from the characteristics of the public test version greatly. In the public test, the tank is nerfed and its performance characteristics are very similar to those of the Kirovets-1 (Unreleased tier 8 soviet premium) – New performance characteristics in the game (not the final version!): • reload time of guns; • Preparation time for a double shot; • Recharge lock time; • Gun change time. For Object 703 Option II, they amounted to: [CT3 1.6.1]: • Gun reload time (1/2): 10/8 sec. • Double shot preparation time: 4 sec. • Recharge lock time: 7 sec. • Changing guns: 5 sec. For Object 703 Option II they amounted to: [Supertest]: • Gun reload time (1/2): 13/13 sec. • Double shot preparation time: 3.5 sec. • Recharge lock time: 7 sec. • Changing guns: 5 sec. After firing with a doublet (immediately from 2 guns), it will be necessary to wait for the blocking time of 7 sec + 13 sec of reloading of 1 gun. * Crew: 5 people on ST and 4 on CT. ** The armor of the tank also differs between CT3 1.6.1 and ST.
